A 10 word/phrase challenge...but very interesting words. Imperturbable Pleasingly plump Mettlesomeness Sugar-coat Jollification Point in time Craven Jocosity Happenstance Rubenesque ...Of My Dreams You are my dream, I stand here artistically unaware, Yet with paintbrush in hand Wishing to be an artist. You are my inspiration, How I wish I could capture you Forever…hold you entrapped On the canvas of my mind. I have been so craven, Neglectful in my words to you, There comes a point in time That I am without voice, For I am stilled by nerves At your very closeness. You always seem imperturbable, Calm and yet filled with a joy …for everyday living. You are serenity personified, If I could but paint, mat and frame …the you I see. That is what I would name …such a masterpiece. Then! I love what I call Your two ‘J’ qualities, Jollification and jocosity When your happiness shows And your laughter fills the still air. A merry-maker of much aplomb. You make each day a festivity, A reason to celebrate. ‘tis then I tremble at the essence of you …at the splendor …of your very existence. I would not dishonor you, Nor sugar-coat To others who ask What I would want in a consort, To fall in with what they wish …for themselves. I with much mettlesomeness …would say, “One with dignity, filled with self-worth, Overflowing with integrity and humor, A happenstance, a blessing to all, A miracle - to me. One who is of robust carriage, Impressive stature… Well-formed, pleasingly plump, A Rubenesque delight.” If you were aware of my heart, You would see that you hold it …in your hands. Handle with care. |

this is a very romantic poem. "If you were aware of my heart, You would see that you hold it …in your hands."......a true romantic heart then tailed with a beg "Handle with care." a verse with 200 proof. |
