Bending Steps

Save me a dance, the last one.
A collide of beats,
as fast as pulse as fast a drum
one more dance before the sun.
Allow me a kiss
so silent and humble,
like bronze of bread.
Edge of skin
above the chin.
Cold as heart, comes to mind
warm as fall, colors bind
of this duplicity
this reality,
of how your eyes
elope an epiphany.
Steps so bliss
makes one glance,
to-fro, tip-toe
one more dance.
So comely are you, I admit
this kiss is most definite.
save me a dance, the last one
maybe a kiss or two,
for the long run.
