The power of those words Etched on paper, Ink filled worlds That sail Across the page And into Our mouths. Each letter A different reason A different passion With each page set To become entangled With its verbs splurged With adjectives that Stream the lines Of ever-ending twists And turns. The pages turn, The lanes of words Become thinner As the shades of black Return white beads Of hope to those That read with Paint-filled eyes. These words, Tucked into Our pocket seams Cascading off The winds woven Blanket of pasted Black ink. |

very concrete I just wanted 2 question the last verse in the 1st stanza that reads "And into our mouths" Also, it seems dark, almost pessimistic...what was your thinking behind the poem? -J |
