I am dying inside, lack of control over things I should have in my pocket... like everyone else who thinks of life this way. Anyone can see it. I don't hide it... how could I even if I tried? I'm bare knocking on the highway but no one answers. The ocean calls. I am busy being neglected and rejected and have no time for her. I don't much feel like rhyming now. It's gone from my blood. Days spent passing shadows, ghosts...flawless, tranquil, never mine to hold. To embrace anything at this moment would give life where I am dying inside, where eveyone can see. |

you may not feel like rhyming but woman, you are always poetic "Days spent passing shadows, ghosts...flawless, tranquil, never mine to hold." *loved this* |

You express yourself so beautifully - even when you are dying inside. My thoughts are with you -- my poet friend. A |

love this especially the irony of... "where I am dying inside, where eveyone can see." |

some of us likely 'relate' to this write far, far more than others....... I particularly like: "knocking on the highway but no one answers. The ocean calls. I am busy being neglected and rejected and have no time for her." I truly know the feeling!..... |
