Could there be a better way
to begin a new day?

Imagine yourself sliding
into a slip of divine time,
captured within serendipitous rhyme,
bathing in sweet soft shafts of sunlight,
wakening from some deep-time sleep
hearing soft cascading coos
from a nearby mourning dove;
stretching nakedly serene
alongside the one you love.

Could there be a better way
to begin a new day?

Ah...if there is I don't want to find it any time soon my friend...because even if it's 'better', it certainly will not be the 'best'!

That is mostly a fantasy for me right now,
but I will take your word for it.

Hey Kacy, do you still have Live Messenger?
I only know how to talk with "Katrina."

I particularly love:

".....a slip of divine time,
captured within serendipitous rhyme,
bathing in sweet soft shafts of sunlight..."

Applause!

Ahhh ... so serene!

Especially if one does not need to get up immediately!

Love and Joy.

I knew there HAD to be a better way than shrill alarm clocks.... If this could be mine, I'd sure become a morning person in a hurry! *S*

Midnitesun,

This is particularly well written.  I can’t find anything to complain about.

This name "Kacy" rings a bell with me.  As I'm an old man, I forget where I met it before.
