Sometimes, much more often then not Our peripheral visions see more than a Selfish soul will admit. Now, selfish is not meant to be a smack attack. Quite the opposite. Some call it the real deal, reality, veracity or Just plain life. I call it vain. Yes, yes I know that’s a little harsh but harsh Tends to bring the taste out. How do you know it won’t taste good if you Lock up the Pie hole? Just because the steam rises from the spring Doesn’t make the water hot. The cool air of night leisurely slipping behind The dew may have given you an optical illusion. Optical illusion. Or could it be something simple like A haze of doubt a flutter before Only your eyes. I can safely suggest a closer look to The outside edge of things. What you see head on is almost Never As important as what Stands beside you.

Wonderful! Very deeply insightful. "Just because the steam rises from the spring Doesn’t make the water hot." We all need to think sometimes that things aren't always as *WE* percieve them. Great Poem, my new friend! ~Terry ~you reached inside, you touched my heart, |
