This Is The Music

This Is The Music
The scent of moving forward
Bathing in the rains that come after

Starlight glitter, perfume left upon the wrist
Wisteria and Alyssum linger innocence over blood beat drum

Soul sounds flood the air
Fresh the breadth deep in optimism
Making lighter a voice to yearn of measured notes

Overflowing, the cup of gratitude
This is the music, harmonic in grace trickling where it pools
