In a state of disrepair...

The television opens wide and whines
as some demonic dream lusts for liberty
inside the screaming static snow

Some hedonistic overture
the hisses never heard before
composer's soul is devil sold

Snow that never has been cold
in the burning ash sighs unfold
just waiting to be born again

No reason to invite them in
the people in the static freeze
hiss and whine and scream

Watch the decadent dream
unfold on the television screen
and all you see is static
