Stand back.
I'm in change.

Evolution, be it said,
might all be just in my head

and surely it feels strange.

Still
I need you to say you understand
even if you don't.
I need you to say you'll love me
even if you won't.

Reinvention.
New ground, but where
do we go from here?
Seems that when I'm sober
my thoughts aren't very clear.

And even though I'm in change,
I still want you somewhere the same,
I'm not afraid to let you know
I can't live without the frame
of time that you have to give.

being sober makes it better, you never know, been there and done that, as long as your not being let down by those close to you.
