I had him at hello. Now I wonder what to do with him. Men are only good for lying and buying drinks. A hard time in my life, God put him there with his wallet out and his heart upon his sleeve, with no knowledge of who I am and what I've come to believe. He is so in love it hurts him; the way I smell, what I wear, how I strut, the sound of my voice, the curls that attack my hair, and even when I'm not looking, I still catch him in a stare. I had him at hello and he's got it bad... what am I to do with him? I can only make him sad. |

The first part of this made me smile quite a lot. Well, now, men are wonderful creatures, even with all their "faults" |

Maybe you can only give yourself time. Who knows what happens then, but ... I love the poem. Yes, there's humor but there is also a beautiful statement of who you are. We are lucky to have you among us as a friend and a talented poet. Alison |

Its better not to encourage someone too much if you don't share the feelings... but with just the right amount of encouragement, who knows what might happen later...James |
