A Letter. I tried writting you, A letter or two. But it seems as if the return adress, Was the only adress. But I don't worry, I don't stress. Because I know with every night, You shed a tear of plight. I hear it hit the ground, At exactly, midnight. I fear for me, And I fear for you. You're the number one, And I'm always number two. Please be alright, And send me a sign of life. This night. Is it right that I wait? Wait in silence? I wish I may, And I wish I might, See you one day... Maybe tonight. You're my princess, And I'm your knight. Hate's the dragon of myth, To which I must dismiss. To earn your love, To earn my place, In your heart. I know I was wrong, And I know you were right. I should have gave up, On this meaningless fight. I took it too far, And now we're over tonight, So here I sit, And I write. The most heartfelt apologie, For you, From me. My one. My only. |
