Photo Deadly. A picture worth 1000 words You're in my head Voice like the birds, Singing from tree to tree, Oh how great it is to be free. I've always wondered if you understood me, For who I was and who I will be, Because we all change in an instant, But a picture can save a memory, To me babe, you're Photo Deadly. I'm pushing you back You keep pushing me back, But When the flash goes, It's time to strike a pose. Photo Deadly is how you are to me, A shadow on a memory, A thought that kills, I thought you'd see, My Reality, bent by a pill. An empty fill, What we have won't hurt anymore, Time to lay out as Angels on the floor, Slowly grasping your hand, I see it in your eyes, That you finally understand. Tell me I'm different from the other guys, But this time around I Don't need any lies, I take a picture of your smile from when you cared, As I stare, I remember the love that we once shared... It killed me inside when you left, Left me for dead, I wanted to know what was going on in your head, If you wanted to hurt me, I just want you to see, That you did, And I will forever be, A slave to the photograph of a smile so empty. |
