If I were twelve inches tall,
Would a spider's web break my fall?
Could I fly on a kite from morning to night?
If I were twelve inches tall,
I wouldn't likely feel small.
Only in a dream could I be twelve inches tall.
Would cats chase me?
What about dogs?
Who needs horse power when you can have cat power?
Makes me wonder about Cat Deisel Power.
If I were twelve inches tall,
I could sail across the swamp
And see giant frogs and go fishin' for minnows.
The front lawn could be a prarie.
Folks might call me a faery or a pixie.
No problems there I might say.
Bathing in a pocorn bowl might be fun.
My indoor pool could be a bath tub.
I'd live in a house made from clay, leaves and pine needles.
But only if I were twelve inches tall.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their comments on the previous poem titled Got Lost.

I really enjoyed this and have to say there are many days I feel 12 inches tall surrounded by all the wonders of nature. Today I am in a frozen wonderland, just crying to be photographed and feeling much like your poem.

What a great outlook on life period to see things from another perspective.

Thanks. I wrote this because I feel this way alot. Seems Im one people have forgotten or betrayed for unknown resons. The advantages vs disadvantages of actually being twelve inches tall is a long list. So guess Im glad to be 6 feet.

If you were twelve inches tall..you would have to tapdance on the computer keys to type your poetry!
