time is melting as the snow beneath a warmin’ sun can ya hear my baby cryin’ a cryin’ in the dark west Texas winds nigh always blow their work is never done I think I hear her callin’ a callin’ in the dark daylight fades to Luna’s glow coyotes on the run why can’t I feel her near me a near me in the dark route 66 done had to go I hate a warmin’ sun why can’t I hear her breathin’ a breathin’ in the dark why? |
