   A rare talent  that once in awhile comes along
    Though her personality sometimes didn't seem
    Like it did belong
   Unique in voice
   And definitely her own style
  While it seems thst certain demons took over
   Being destructive and vile
  Though her life  was an interesting road
  Sometimes emtional traffic
  Was too much of a load
  Her songs when sung
  Revealed anguish and anger with pain
  Perhaps it was therapy for her
  Time and again
  Regardless of whatever opinions you hold
    Of her and think
To her behaviour, outfits
Her sometimes sobriety
Her love to drink
But I believe she wasn't a fool
She could certainly play killer pool
Even though being twenty -seven was her last call
She was trying musically , perhaps personally
  To give it her all
  Amy I believe had become somewhat lost
  Through all her turmoil she didn't fully realize
  At what cost
I'd like to think she was perhaps becoming at long last found
Beginning to take a more positive ground
I'm sorry Amy that you had left this world
But your legacy lingers on
May you find peace wherever you are at
And help your family be strong...
