I am tired…
Of feeling like I failed, again
Of being lonely
Of feeling sad
Or angry

I am sad…
Of being tired
And out of sorts
And frustrated
Or irritable

I am weary…
I am in turmoil
My life is changing, again
Is this just a part
Of getting older

I miss…
Feeling happy
Not hurting
Not crying
Laughing

Only I can …
Change my life
Make things right
Make them better
Find my center

I must…
Achieve balance
Within my life
Or there will never
Be peace around me

Dear Lisa: I think all of us feel as you do right now, at some time in our lives. Usually in our younger years but not always.
There are usually positive things happening and we need to find them. Joining this group is definitely a positve thing! Hope it helps.

I've felt like this so many times during my life, but somehow, some way, we always manage to pick ourselves up & carry on.
Because we must & because when we look deeper, there's always reasons for us to, however small.
I loved the honesty & raw emotion of your poem.

Loved the poem, I recently met someone like this and it is not a happy place to be,we look for others to fill the void for us when we are lonely and hurting, but really it is a process that shouldn't be rushed, to feel is to LIVE even when what we feel is pain,,,,good expressoin of that process here!!!
