I met a man Who touched my soul His body young His heart was old He could have been A friend of mine If, I had, but Remembered in time That, lines crossed Can’t be erased And so now I find I face A loneliness That runs too deep For words speak Or sleep to heal I am broken By thoughtlessness I won a prize But lost the best. So now I face Bleaker days I had some fun And now I pay |
