" 2010--The Year To Begin Yet Again"

Here we go once more
As we ponder and reflect
To what this new year has in store

Perhaps we shall get motivated
Or procrastinate just the same
Shall we become a little more wild
Or border on being tame

Inspiration will come
From new places and things
The observance of life in general
And with our spirit
To which our soul openly sings

Will what I strive for
At long last come through
If not this year
I'll just keep perservering
Until I do

I'll keep on writing with my pen
And certainly will amuse you further
With new adventures of my Barnyard Gang
Now and again

Take time to embrace the sunrise
Appreciate the Dawn
Be thankful for the sunset
And for all the right not the wrong

I wish for blessings and well being
Amongst you all -- my friends
And may harmony be bestowed upon you
And Light Love of Holiness descends

And in conclusion I say ~ Amen~

Having been away from here awhile I haven't read any of your poetry but I really like this poem. I want to read more of yours.
I used to make New Year's Resolutions. Never kept them, then I stopped making them. This year I decided I would not use the term Resolution like a noun and say to myself "I resolve to ...." to do just one obtainable thing.
