You will find her in the quiet
of an evening's slower pace
or perhaps for just an instant
on her beloved grandchild's face.

Your own children will be hearing
the advice she gave to you,
for you are the living vessel
whom she will be talking through.

And forever in your memory
you will find her waiting there.
Her own death cannot remove you
from a loving mother's care.

(In memory of my Niece)

Joyce~
I know how dearly you loved her ...
and being there when she left had to be
a very tender, poignantly sad time~

This is a lovely reminder that the things
we do and say as we live ... remain behind us~

Dear Joyce

I was not aware that your niece had passed away.  I'm so sorry to hear of it and your poem sure touched my heart.

Joyce...*hugs*

I'm sorry for your loss.

This was very heart warming and wrenching at the same time. You've caught the essence of how I feel about both my grandmothers passing.

Thank you.

I am glad this was brought up, as I had missed it and that would be a very sad thing.
