The true chocoholic
Not hard to define
Indulges forever in chocolate
Doesn't matter the type
Or time of day
Just to savour that morsel
Melting ever so sweet

Variations of chocolate
In shape, colour, size
It is both good and bad for you
What a compromise

European,American, Canadian
Doesn't matterwhere it came
If your palate embraces it
Perhaps somewhere exotic
It ignites within you

Tantalizing your taste buds
Beyond the extreme
How it elevates joy
And some caffeine rush

It brings many a smile
In our everyday lives

Some can't have
Or don't like it
And that's okay

What is it about chocolate...

This sounds alot like a poem I wrote once. It was called "Chocolate". The other one I wrote was "Coffee", 2 of my favorite treats. This poem was awesome and very true. I love how you used the word tantalize, it sets your senses on a high. Awesome! Library.
