Angels in the Attic
I was sitting in my chair drinking tea, reading my bible

I heard some fluttering coming from the attic, as if wings were flapping

Poked my head into the attic, and what did I see?

Halo floating

gossamer wings glowing

An angel was going through my old family photos!

Spilling my tea, I look away

To look back, and the angel was gone

But a photo lay on the ground, seeming to be glowing

Going up to see

It was an old photo of dear Annie

Welcome to our circle of friends~
Annie was known and loved by many of us here~
She wrote some lovely poetry and shared a lot of things with me via email~
I miss her presence~
