A New Slate The old year is gone And with it the dreams Perhaps not fulfilled in 0-Seven. But just as surely A new year has come, A gift from our Father in Heaven. A chance for redemption A chance to pursue The ending of old dreams Beginning of new. Thanks be to God for The blessings bestowed And the strength that he gives us To carry the load. The new year has come And with it the dreams As yet to come true in 0-Eight. Forgetting the past And looking ahead Give thanks that it isn't too late. By: Joyce 12/31/07 |
