Safe Haven To the Oasis and Jack Daniel,the last dead soldier Where be this place called Safe Haven; is it an Oasis somewhere beyond Wild Nature's beauty? Can it be found in a world of brick and mortar, an artificial refuge of manmade stone? Me thinks not, tho, I tarry there at least for awhile, dreaming dreams no other mortal would dare to dream, as I free the sprit from the glass. Oh, how I love to partake with thee this simple kindness and lay upon the earth the silica shell of an old departed friend. Farewell, Jack, 'til the 'morrow! when I return to free the sprit entrapped within the bottle. |

Larry C, my last drink was 8-10-67...that is a good thing! however, i do think about it and do write about it. in some way it helps |

bel1e, black jack had always been my poison of preference. it was like an ice cube on my brain...bringing a cooling click to the inside my head. it was, at times, the only way to find sleep. |
