i wish i had a friend, that is just like yours, one who holds me tight, and never loses his cool, with everyone around him, he still manages to put you in a pool, of satisfaction, all my friends, change the subject, when i talk about me, because the know what coming, they can already see, so they talk about themselves, their problems and hurts, while i sit and smirk ha it could be worse, i let them cry on my shoulder, and never cry back, i have to keep my image, tough girl with a perfect life, if only they knew what i do at home, sit in my room and cry all alone, with no one there with a warm embrace, they know i'm depressed they see it in my face, so that's why i need a friend like yours, to help me through running from here, not sneaking out the window, leaving through the doors. I can relate to this poem. I'm always there for some of my "friends" when they need someone to talk to, but then when I need someone they just don't seem to care. It makes the friendship feel so one-sided. But don't worry, you'll find that true friend out there, just like I've found mine. ![]() ~Alli~ |

Wow, I can sorta relate but not entirely. See, my friends are like that with each other constantly, so I've never needed a friend I've always had one. Good write, continue!! |
