It's taken me days to write this but i know if I don't I'll be more of a mess than i am now...

♥ Goodbye Ella ♥ (2/6/2006 - 21/4/2007) ♦Taken Too Soon♦

Today I buried one of my own
My baby daughter who wasn’t even grown
Her battle had only just begun
But she couldn’t fight any longer, the angels won

I haven’t been sober for nearly three days
The girl I had become returned to her evil vindictive ways
Every time I turn around I hear her cry
And I’m to scared to say a final goodbye

A crowd gathers as the ceremony draws near
They wheel in her coffin and I collapse in fear
Everyone rushes to see if I’m okay
“I’ll be fine” I continue to say

They bury her tiny little body within the ground
I shake and shudder trying not to make a sound
The pain is UN describable and I’m growing insane
But those flowers and cards don’t take away any of the pain

It’s been almost three days since Ella was put at rest
My body still aches and my fingers are cold, but maybe it’s for the best
I still shake and cry when I walk past her room
But never did I think this little girl could bring me to my doom

I take a final step and open the door
I grab another bottle and sit on the floor
Gods taken everything and left me unaided
He doesn’t care that I’m drunk, lifeless and jaded

The song “Drops Of Jupiter” plays in my head
That same song was on the radio when they pronounced you dead
I’ll miss you forever Ella and I love you
And I know deep down you love me too

this is a powerful poem it makes me cry that it happened to you but i believe that you will get through it you just need to rely on your friends and family it helps alot there have been a few of those i have heard of and i am great saddened that it had to happen to you but writing things down helps alot and i hope you get through this sad ordeal soon so that happiness can re-enter your life

I'm so sorry. and i kno that probably doesn't help but its all i can offer. there have been many deaths in my life and i kno the pain and effect it has. And i know its hard to cope with the fact that "god give, god take" its ok to take it hard as long as you never blame yourself. i promise that it some way things will get better. Plus this is an amazing poem and u are so brave and have so much heart to be able to post this. i admire you. and always remember...something we often forget, its okay not to feel alright.

Oh Jess I am sooo sorry and I know you have probably heard this so who knows if me saying this will even matter... I know it's tough and I will be praying for you. I hope you can find God throgh all this, It may seem like he doesn't care but hun he really does and he has Ella up there, looking down on you. Make her proud Jess.

Jessi oh my god I am so sorry. What happened? stay strong. One minute there were your lovely poems about ella and then now she died. How are you doing? if you ever need to talk

A nice poem. Ella would be proud. Maybe god took her for a reason maybe he didn't. I am sure she would want you to not give up and keep up writing and being strong. Its hard when someone dies, I know. But even if the pain and the grief hurts so bad now, it will get better. Not alot of help right now but just keep looking toward tomorrow.

No parent should ever have to endure the loss of a child. It has to be an inexplicable pain that can only be truly understood by others who have experienced the same terrible ordeal.

God Bless you and your family. I wish you all of the strength you can gather in the days ahead of you.

I wrote this poem for a dear friend who lost her daughter, and I'd like to share it with you now...

An Angel Now

God gave to us His Cherubim
To bless our trek on mortal shore.
Her golden heart and smiling face
Bestowed on us eternal grace.
An angel now at heaven's door,
Bequeathed to Him our Seraphim.

Love, i know how you feel... No, i can't say that.. i've experienced losing someone i loved, my best friend passed away two months ago. But there isnt any resemblence to what you must be feeling..
