Remember the Future

Perhaps it’s because I don’t understand
Maybe it’s because you don’t know me
But I’ve been waiting for so long
For someone brave to walk along

But I’ll wait a little longer
Until the day that you appear
It’s not too hard, or too long to wait
If my grandest prize is a little late

Somewhere in the undefined future
There is a corner where I’m waiting
And waiting patiently, for a millennia or two
Memories distant yet to be had come true

Yet, here I am and I have to say
That incredibly I remember the future
Yes it seems a backwards statement
But the stars knew for eons their exact placement

I remember seeing my hand in yours
The kiss that started it all
I remember your proposal
It hasn’t happened, and I remember it all

"I have no other but a woman's reason:
I think him so, because I think him so."

wow it is like describing deja vu before you have it, and i just loved this one alot especially when you say it hasn't happened yet but you remember it all
