Portrait of Grey Skies The everlasting color of my sky The grey that doesn’t melt The back ground for the portrait That you love above all others Ha, and aren’t you so funny Your favorite portrait now Is the canvas of my face Painted heavy with pain There are so many times That misery repeats And today is just one of those days Where nothing has changed Words are thrown around Mine stung you first But yours did more than sting They threw me to the ground I’m not so hurt now I’m trying to let this go To be the better person I’m changing my heart My skies may be grey white The color that makes me hope That heaven offers every color but The one in today’s skies It’s sad we’re changing I thought we were stronger Than what we appear to be Simplicity that was our unraveling

"There are so many times That misery repeats And today is just one of those days Where nothing has changed" Dang...i have always loved you're writting style, but this has got to be one of my favorites by you!!! I loved it Hope to read more soon. So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart. |

I liked alot of the imagery you put in and some of the words you chose but it wasn't my favourite poem just cause it didn't flow as nicely as your other ones |
