I Stop and listen to him cry
It's too late for his sly goodbye
It's his fault she's dead, but he just wouldn't listen
but now its too late to wipe the tears that glisten
He's a dad, She would of been a mum
But it was all too much for her, she gave in, he WON

I tried to tell her when we had lunch
That he slept around just far too much
She just looked at me, smiled and said " but he said he loved me best"
I said i understood but i knew she was a mess
.
He still sits and cries at night
But i don't care, as long as the baby's alright

Today I hold my head in shame
To think that baby carries his last name
Her name is Phoebe after her mum
And her brown eyes sparkle in the sun
