When you can’t find something to hold, I’ll reach for your hand. When you can’t seem to stay afloat, I’ll bring you to land. When you can’t stand up on your own, I’ll try to be strong. When you can’t seem to find the words, I’ll talk all night long. When you can’t deal with anyone, I’ll unplug the phone. When you want someone there for you, I’ll not leave you alone. When you need someone to hold all night, I’ll be by your side. When you need someone to yell and scream at, I’ll be there and I won’t hide. When you can’t take the pain much more, I’ll be there to share it. When you need a heart to be torn out, I’ll offer you mine, you can tear it. When you need to laugh at something dumb, I’ll do something stupid. When you need to fall in love again (with me!), I’ll call up Cupid. When you need to be strong for someone, I’ll begin to cry. When you need to save a life, I’ll do my best to die. When you need to have your ass kicked, I’ll be there to do it. When you don’t think you’re good enough, I’ll be there to prove it. I love this. It sounds like one of my closest friends, and everything she's done for me. Well, except the fall in love line, lol. A friend like that is someone to truly cherish. I hope whoever you wrote it for, apreciates that. |
