Scripted words, made up everyone Not a scrap of creation, all just lines Counting down till she is done She lies; I can read all the signs She won't look anyone in the eye Blushing cheeks, reddened ears Can’t believe she’s still telling her lies She never saw any of my tears Now some story, an apology A little too late, now For her to say she’s sorry Every time the same vow To be broken yet another again Her kindness, good will, an illusion This time they're on my side, even your friends You were wrong, those tricks abusing My friendship. your jokes never funny just cruel You try to be the boss not changing ever You were not any nicer away from our school Its all been the same act for as long as I remember This staged scene that we all saw through Every time you threw away the blame Told us instantly, it was you To you friends are some game The world is your stage That you play in and out of at will Center act, you never fade You say you’re the best, when you got no skill You play the same tune all the time You dance to the same music at each performance We know it by heart the same lines Seen you charades, your not getting no more chances Looks like you’re finished, time to exit the limelight You could be yourself, or you could leave with grace Tired of hearing you sing, and watch you try To win. When everyone is tired of seeing your face. |
