Just another day
Just another girl
Trying hard to make it
In this sinful horrid world

Each day I awake
And get back in routine
After awhile it gets
Kind of obscene

Burly men all around
Put on a strong mean face
but we all know its just
their apprehensive stage

Trying to be cool,
Trying to fit in
I see everyone worry
and it sorta makes me grin

Because what is "cool"?
and what is the "in thing"?
All these words and phrases
have gotten so cliche

Just be who you are
Don't try to conform
Because people who are themselves
Wont ever have to reform

Get the picture?

Idk if this poem makes sense at all or anything...but i was bored and wrote it. okay yeha

lol i know tons of people like that...so annoying *rolls eyes* but i can be like that too sometimes so i cant really talk haha.

Hey bekah,

How nice to see a new poem by you, at last! Especially one that is so well written, I'm constantly amazed at how much your poetry keeps improving from poem to poem. When I thought what you'd written before couldn't get any better it does in the next one and I'm amazed all over again. This poem is no exception to what I said above.

I loved this one a lot; the general idea/content is awesome! It's a "be yourself don't change for anyone" kind of feel to it. Yet, it talks enough about everyone not doing that which makes it interesting to read, plus the flow is superb.

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed reading this poem

I was trying to pick out my favorite stanzas from the poem but I just can't! All of it is just so true, and I can relate to it so much!

i totally agree with what stargal said about the "feel" of the poem and i loved it

i hate following what everyone else is doing but sometimes i do any way and i usually regret it because i just like being me way better

(i was trying to explain why i liked it soo much)

Wow.. this was amazing.. and so many times.. people don't like you because your not "it".. but life goes on and it should be done by being who you are.. great job.
