It sways with grace no human could possess- while under she sits Swiping the page with an elegant absurdity that only she could command Filling it with the words only her heart and the paper will ever know She wishes others to find her to secretly read her works- but scared Nothing is very certain anymore for her life and her works The sun is setting, all has turned gold and red in the day’s ending light But for a second the world stands still and she sighs and is alone Only in her day dreams does she have company to talk with A leaf brushes her face and she shivers in the slight cold wind Her note pad and poised pen write out a few more lines from her thoughts She has this one moment to be complete and at peace with her loneliness So she sits and nothing comes she accepts and weeps her grief in tears "Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it |
