Fly Away 2006 Fly away 2006, you’ve been and gone made my life a clutter 2006 as bought many things, it’s even made me a nutter I’ve cried, I’ve smiled and have been played for a fool There’s been the good the bad and the dreadful I’ve had a baby and seen her grow I love her to pieces and will never leave her so I’ve seen her first smile. Her very first laugh I’ve seen her crawl and gave her a bath I’ve found a friend in a fellow PIP tempest He is more than just a mate to me; he gives each day that special zest Temp helped me when I was down He completely turned my life around My mum got sick and I’m still afraid But I know now that her legacy will live on with those memories she made My dad and brother can both be pigs at times But they are family and everyone can be as sour a three limes My brother is a player, three girlfriends a week He tries to tell me its all fun but I tell myself love is all he must seek My dad loves me to pieces; he’d give his life for me I love him too, if only he could see I’ve messed up and I know it now I should have listened to my parents and not asked how? But hey take a look at me at this moment in time I’m stronger than ever before and looking very fine Fly away 2006, you’ve been and gone made my life a clutter 2006 as bought many things, it’s even made me a nutter Let’s hope 2007 is better than this past year Some things I would never change and I hold them dear Go on fly away now, you’ve made your mark on our lives, now let us have a say Fly Away 2006 I didn’t like you much anyway |
