I fill so alone now
like im on my own
I don’t know how it got so bad
but ive said every word I know
to try and make you understand

For you I tried to be perfect
but all the pain and angst is not worth it

So now I know what I have to do
but its this decision that make me fill even worse
I must say the last, long, and lonely goodbye

As the skys grow dark and the lights go dim
you stand there as these two words fall lifelessly out of my mouth
and still you have nothing to say
you just turn and walk away

Tears falling down again
tears fall down
this time around you cant run to you
I no longer have you as a friend

I bet you still don’t understand
how you hurt me so bad
you never stopped to see that
your not the only one drowning in your imperfections

You had me to help you get through those times
but now I reach up and you hand I cant find
but I guess that’s what I get
I give you my all
and you give me nothing at all
