Here the bird are singing Sweetly to the skies Here pain and hatred Sweetly seem to die Here the sea is waving Far below the cliffs Here there is escape From the whole world’s woes and miffs Here beauty is not rare It’s “If you will” not “If you dare” Here the greatest poems were borne Those that make you rejoice and yet still mourn You could be a part Of what is here That you could be a part of this beautiful throng That exists here In Ireland Poetry and Song |
