Winter is a fringe on our bodies. My confidence and the sky meet. I expect very little from you. The dirty clothes on your floor, the bar of soap and the roof. I'll watch you and protect you but you forget I'm there. Taking me for granted. Invisible when I am right in your face. If Persistence leads to bliss then I have given up. Do I have your attention or are you blind? I am lead like a rabid guide dog. And I am left behind like a fool. I don't want to be a pair of school children. And I only dream of me and you. I cut myself until I bleed. Until I bleed ink that is. And I'll bleed all over you. |
