I'm through with what you did to me And what you've done to my heart. I don't know if I could handle something like this again. I don't know if I can live seeing my heart being torn apart. I know you didn't plan for this to happen And your tears show me that guilt is hanging in the air. Your trembling lips beg me for forgiveness And your face is twisted in despair I don't know if I'll ever forgive you Or if I'm able to look at you the same way But I'm not gonna let you hurt me anymore And there's no price for you to pay I'm not gonna scream or curse you out I'm picking up my shattered heart And hoping it will pull itself together And hoping I'll be able to restart I'm packing up my bags without a sound while your just standing in the doorframe Tears falling. You plead with mercy Your wishing things could go back to be the same But all I know that wishing isn't true Your love was just the same way I'm sorry honey.. but I have to do this There's nothing you could do to make me stay. |

painful and sad...but if you can't get past whatever it was, moving on is the hardest thing, and in the long run, the best thing! |
