Seeing through skinny girls with a deadly obsession Pain pierces the tears pouring from my heart Starving themselves in a search for perfection. Alone but I don’t envy them, I chose to be apart. I see them everyday sitting at the lunch table pretending to eat Anchored in a chasm of oblivion- deaf to their bodies cries Denying their sickness-blinded by a desire to compete Their lies are frozen thorns that hold them entwined Breaking down teens nationwide-one thought A image that cages heart and soul-beautiful=thin This game they play is dangerous-I’ve already lost Brittle they look possessed - they can’t win |

very true I dont know why people would do that to themselves. and I know its hard how everyone tries to be like them. Im proud of you for being different! and seeing the harm in what they do. Krysti |

You kidding me? Its not hard to not do it. I love food and eating.. yummy food.. lol. I coudn't do that to myself - I don't have that need to be perfect cuz im ok knowing im not. I've had friends who have done it to themselves though its scary. |
