how can i tell you
just what you mean to me
without you running away
as if im some disease

how can i let you know
your the only star in my sky
shining bright in the evening night
you are my only light

these photographs are evidence
that happy cant be real
unless your right beside me
holding my hand to make me feel

baby when you said goodbye
my heart sank in the sea
trying oh so hard to stay afloat
it drowned inside of me

i choked on the ashes
but gagged down the taste
only to be left alone
because your walking away

I'm feeling something very similar at the moment, well she hasn't walked away but needs a brea to sort her head out, and now i'm digressing so i'll stop...back to the poem, again I relate to it obviously and I really like the imagery you have conjured up in here. You're a true magician of words.
