Its times like these
I wish
I could forget
the girl I used to be.
Because times like these-
she always resurfaces,
full of thoughts
that don't belong to me.
They're full of pain,
these dreams.
Sharp things--like knives.
Confusion--but that's because
They're suicidal thoughts,
and that's not me.
Although--it used to be.
I really wish
that girl would go away--
but I have this feeling--
that she's here,
to stay.

Remember:Tuck your chin, you're going to get hurt, so expect it and be ready. You might as well see it coming.

I relate too. perfectly. It's a bad thing but i feel this way the majority of the time. like my past self is going to take over my body once again. I enjoyed how u put that feeling into words
