Right before I spill my guts you say I wont look at you in a different way But I know this isn’t true But I also know I can trust you Even when I step back and look at me There are things I don’t want to see And now I know you see them to And you know every word I say is true I wouldn’t lie about the things I’ve done I didn’t lie about the bullet in that gun I showed you the scares left on my wrists I told you my life had some gruesome twists Your eyes drop to the ground Breathless not a single sound I know I’ve stunned you with all of this Maybe I shouldn’t have taken that risk Now you watch what you say Like your afraid ill take it the wrong way I never asked for your sympathy I’m still just me But what was to be expected At least not to be rejected But now that we’re here Never again will I be what I appear |

This is so good. Its got a good flow,tells the story well while exploring all the relevant emotions. |
