War At Home

In these four corner walls
I quickly run for cover
to hide away from a war
scared of what to discover.

In my darkened room
I just tried to pray
hope things will end soon
make them stop, i pray.

With eyes shut
hands on my ears
I hum a song in my head
ignoring my rolling tears.

Broken glasses shattered
like bolts of thunder is all i hear
seems like they're at it again
hurting themselves, i just fear.

I hope they could just stop
don't want such war at home
but now I continued praying
locked in my room all alone.
