For this to make sense please read draft one first. -Kate And Me (Draft Two) And me They forgot The water in the rain But sailed on across it In their minds- their own blockade A foriegner In a world of nomads At peace- but not in rest A family of a thousand parts A bending birdies nest Family lies, the stone That overrides the path My foriegn wanderings unsated But stopped for The "Higher Roads" ahead A wonder, a miracle A hero to my life Interceeds my dreary path My road turns Not stone- but gold A gentle touch . . . Like satin on the skin Turns the fierce-like outlook Into a happy friend And me "Lucy: I think you are the most selfish person on the planet. George: Well that's just silly. Have you met everyone on the planet?" |
