Grey Enveloped

Long ago,
When the world had no end
When the grey enveloped
The place where all began

We stared out of eyes
That coveted seas
And wished that the angles
Would show us the trees

Floating on air
In space that never was
You say impossible
I say to trust

And on our skin,
The ivory light
Begins to give us
The gift of true sight

The wind gave us feeling
It filled up our souls
Giving all its treasure
To pay our desperate tolls

The light filled the space
And brought the world bliss
The grey dissipated
In a color filled mist

Thanks guys, it was one of the most natural things I've ever written. I love this poem alot, like a man loves his daughter.
