Shimmering in the moonlight;
surppressing what's been left, a heart that
once was whole but now is a broken mess.
Pieces are missing and there's holes right through, they grow even larger when
I focus hard on you.

Daddy why'd you leave me?
I can't stay this strong.
Daddy don't you remember?
Remember why you wrote me that song?
I can't recall the day you left
though it wasn't that long ago,
Daddy why didn't stay?
I didn't want you to go.
