I hate these tears that I always cry
Every time I watch u say goodbye
Sooner or later the scars will cut deep
And memories of us are all you will keep

For richer or poorer better or worse
You left us here to rot in your curse
Your 3000 miles away and you barely call
Your son’s got depression; your dads had a fall
Your wife well she’s battling, you broke her heart
And then there’s me, dad you tore me apart

Once I loved you and you loved me too
But I will never be just like you
With battered scars I will walk alone
On a broken road that I call my home
