I Got Over It

Today I saw your picture
I read your sickened lies
And I realized that life is full
Of amusing compromise

I find I feel much better
Having you gone for good
And I finally realize
I feel like I really should

Your memory is finally gone
Like a broken shattered glass
I find that I don’t miss you
A time consuming task

Odd, though it may seem
Relief, my only cure
In finding you to be the man
I always did deplore

So my feelings finally healed
And the hurt is faded, gone
I no longer feel guilty
And now I feel so strong

you keep getting better each time you write. keep it up. i loved this poem and it really made me feel good, and thats when you know your reading the work of a mastermind. if you can make others feel your words this well, then you are a very good and creative writer. keep it up.
