How could they say this isn't real.
What I think, how I feel...

They say we're too young to fall in love, Ignorence is bliss..
But I know what I'm feeling, because of that one kiss.

I'm just so in love with you.
I just pray that you do to.

That they're lies and thoughts are wrong.
Please, this isn't just a corny love song.

This is love I know what it is, what is can be.
How can they just ignore me?

I'm standing here I got my voice.
But it seems to them I have no choice.

I don't wanna be hold down, My soul's not ment to be killed.
You can't hold me down. I'm too free-willed.

I'll stay where I stand.
Who told you to be put in command?..

Of my heart and my feelings for her.
I know I'm in love. I'm just that sure...

I'll cut the ropes of traditions with all my stength.
But the harder I try, the more it grows in length

A burden pressed down on me, crushing in almighty pain
But I'm not gunna give up on this love.. I didn't try in vain.

I know I love her. Truely I do.
And I'll do anything just to prove that, anything for you...

Yeah this is pretty crappy poem.. not my best work.. stupid writers block

Dear Zach,

           When you say it's not your best work I feel like crawling through the computer and giving you a whack upside your head.  It is your best work FOR NOW, and as long as you keep writing, your writing will continue to get better.  Right now simply worry about being willing to keep writing and don't worry about how good it is.  If you continue to write, it's good enough for right now.  The process of doing the writing itself at this point will be your main teacher, and if you can manage to do some reading of poets you enjoy on top of that, zach, you'll be in Phat City.  Keep writing, keep reading and that's all you need to work on right now, Babe, that's it.  If you're doing those two things, you're miles ahead of almost everybody else.  Just keep at it, and do regular reading.

     So, Zach, My Man, what kind of poetry would you like to read?

Thanks for the encouragement Mr. Bob (lol) I wasn't in the best of moods... But hey your right.. I'll keep up my reading..

If you were acctaully wondering I like reading poetry from Edgar Allen Poe and Lewis Carrol (Charles Dodgson was his real name right??)

Why Edgar Allen Poe? Because His dark poetry depicts his life and all its sorrow and mystery.

And Lewis Carrol well I like his creativity and uniqness in his writing..its a different kind then you usually see..

So Mr.Bob??? Who's yours?? Since it would be rude not to ask... lol

Ditto on what Bob said about coming through the computer and whacking you upside the head... hee hee... I only wrote that because it was too fun not too! Seriously, you are so ahead of the game. It gives me sincere happiness to see a 15-year old so mature, smart, and open. Keep on keeping on, buddy! You are so on your way to whatever life brings you!
