Do you know the truth?

I watch him live from afar,
i wish upon him like a star,
he sees me not,
he comes,
and goes,
i love him better than he knows.

i would give him anything that he needs,
his problems i would always heed,
what he desires the most will be his,
but still i feel as if only a ghost,
in his life of much excitment,
i am like the willow tree about to fall.

i curse the girl that has him now,
she has him locked and ill tell ya how,
shes the barbie of the life he lives,
anything he "needs" she apparently gives,
she does not know him as well as i,
and for what ive done i ask myself, why?
i did it for him as i always do,
for me to him is always true.

i fear not,
for young love ends,
much faster than it begins,
soon he will see,
the part me me he has forgotten, lost, ignored,
he will come to me as i wished he would,
and for what? id ask,
he said i forget,
i will tell him be gone,
like i should have done many moons ago....

Most people know me,
But of which part do they know?
