I don't really know what to title this: I’m lying on the ground, Trying not to make a sound My whole body has gone numb, I know what I said was dumb I wait for you to leave, Then I start to grieve For all the times you’ve hurt me, Not once have you said sorry I hear the screaming in my head, Memories of you pulling me out of bed Remembering I start to cry All I want to do is die It was stupid what I said I wished that you were dead I saw that look upon your face Then my mind began to race Blow after blow I took, You walked away without another look So now I’m lying on the ground Trying not to make a sound I don’t know why I put up with this All the times that I’ve been hit I should hate you for all you did But I can’t, because you’re my dad. You don't need to hate him, but you MUST find some way to get away from him. A wonderful poem by the way. Sanity is NOT a matter of statistics. |

I'm trying my best. I tried standing up to him but I'm only a 5 foot 2 in girl who weighs nothing so it's not very easy but, i'm making it through. I'm trying to find a way out. Thanks |
